These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the website dewtalk.com and any service provided by DewTalk Academy Private Limited ("DewTalk", "we", "us"). By booking a session or enrolling in any DewTalk program, you accept these Terms in full.
1. Eligibility
DewTalk's services are intended for individuals aged 18 years or older — college students and working professionals. By using DewTalk, you confirm that you are over 18 and competent to enter a binding agreement.
2. The service
DewTalk provides:
- Free 30-minute intro sessions — a one-time complimentary 1:1 introductory call with a mentor.
- Paid 1:1 programs — multi-week mentorship covering pronunciation, communication, and breathwork, delivered as private 1:1 sessions.
- AI-tracked reports — automated session reports for both student and mentor.
All sessions are delivered 1:1 over Google Meet. We do not provide group classes, exam preparation, or accent-erasure training.
3. Booking & scheduling
- You may book sessions through our website at dewtalk.com/book/. Booking confirmation is sent to your registered email.
- Session times are in Indian Standard Time (IST). Currently, sessions are available 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST.
- Reschedule requests must be made at least 4 hours before the scheduled session by emailing care@dewtalk.com. Late reschedules may be treated as no-shows.
- No-shows for paid sessions count as the session being delivered (no refund or reschedule).
4. Payment
- All payments are processed in Indian Rupees (INR) by our payment partner, Razorpay.
- Prices listed on /pricing/ are inclusive of applicable GST unless stated otherwise.
- You authorise us to charge the payment method you select for the program fee at the time of enrolment.
- Once payment is made, you become eligible for the program subject to our Refund Policy (Section 6).
5. Code of conduct
To keep DewTalk a safe space for everyone — students and mentors alike — you agree to:
- Be respectful in all interactions with your mentor and our staff.
- Not record, screenshot, or share session content (yours or your mentor's) without written consent.
- Not impersonate another person or share your account access with others.
- Not use DewTalk to transmit harmful, abusive, or illegal content.
We reserve the right to terminate access for breach of this code, with refund determined per our Refund Policy.
6. Refunds & cancellation
Our refund policy is summarised below — full terms at /refund/.
- Free intro session — no payment, hence no refund.
- Paid programs — full refund available only if cancellation is requested before your first paid session. Once the first paid session has been delivered, no refund will be issued, in part or in full.
7. Intellectual property
- All content on dewtalk.com — including the method, frameworks, drill sequences, written content, branding, and AI report templates — is the intellectual property of DewTalk.
- Your recordings, your reports, and your personal notes belong to you; we hold them as your service provider and follow our Privacy Policy.
- You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any DewTalk content or service without written permission.
8. Disclaimers
DewTalk is a coaching and mentorship service. It is not a medical or therapeutic service, and meditation/breathwork content within DewTalk is not intended to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition. If you have a medical or psychological condition that affects breathing, anxiety, or speech, please consult a qualified professional before participating.
While we work hard to deliver outcomes, we do not guarantee specific results — speaking improvement depends on personal practice and effort.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, DewTalk's total liability arising out of or related to your use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the most recent program. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Solan, Himachal Pradesh.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or website notice at least 14 days before they take effect.
