This Privacy Policy explains how DewTalk Academy Private Limited ("DewTalk", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects the personal information of users ("you", "user") who access our website dewtalk.com or use our services.
1. Who we are
DewTalk is operated by DewTalk Academy Private Limited, a private limited company incorporated in India, with registered office at Kathech Villa, Kasauli – Patta Mehlog Road, Kot Beja, Kasauli, Solan, Himachal Pradesh – 173233. CIN: U80900HP2022PTC009304.

2. Information we collect
We collect only what we need to run the program and deliver service:
- Identification data: name, email address, phone number — collected when you book a session, contact us, or sign up.
- Session data: notes about your speaking goals, recordings of practice sessions, AI-generated assessments of pronunciation and pacing.
- Payment data: processed entirely by our payment partner (Cashfree Payments). We do not store your card number, UPI ID, or banking credentials on our servers.
- Usage data: standard server logs — IP address, browser type, page visited, timestamp — used only for security and performance monitoring.
3. How we use it
- To schedule, deliver, and improve your 1:1 mentoring sessions.
- To generate your personal session reports and your mentor's session reports.
- To send you booking confirmations, mentor notes, and important program updates.
- To respond to your support and billing queries.
- To comply with applicable Indian law (taxation, accounting, etc.).
We do not sell your data, ever. We do not use your session content for advertising.
4. Third-party services
We rely on a small set of trusted partners to operate. Each is bound by their own privacy policy:
- Cashfree Payments — payments (see cashfree.com/privacy-policy).
- Hostinger — website hosting.
- Google Meet — live 1:1 video sessions.
- Email service providers — for transactional emails (booking confirmations, mentor notes).
5. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies — only what's required for the site to function (session cookies for the admin area, for example). We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
6. Data retention
We retain your booking and session data for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period required by Indian taxation and accounting law (currently 8 years). You may request earlier deletion at any time — see Section 8 below.
7. Data security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS). Session recordings and reports are stored on secure servers with access limited to your assigned mentor and authorised DewTalk staff. We follow industry standards for password protection and access control.
8. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of your personal data we hold.
- Correct — ask us to fix incorrect or out-of-date information.
- Delete — request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention requirements).
- Object — opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.

9. Children
DewTalk is designed for college students (18+) and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you by email or via a notice on the website at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of DewTalk after that period constitutes acceptance.
