DewTalk reserves 1:1 mentor time the moment you book a paid program. Because that mentor time can no longer be offered to anyone else, our refund policy is intentionally strict — please review it before paying.

1. Free intro session

The 30-minute introductory session is free of charge and not eligible for refund (since no payment is involved). You can reschedule it once at no cost by emailing care@dewtalk.com at least 4 hours before the scheduled time.

2. Paid 1:1 programs

Before your first paid session — full refund

If you cancel your paid program before your first paid 1:1 session has been delivered, you are entitled to a 100% refund, minus payment-processor fees charged by Cashfree Payments (typically 2–3%).

What counts as the "first paid session"?  The first scheduled 1:1 session you attend (in part or in full) after the introductory call. Reaching the meeting link and joining the call counts as the session being delivered.

After your first paid session — no refund

Once your first paid 1:1 session has been delivered, no refund will be issued, whether full or partial, regardless of:

3. How to request a refund

To request a refund (where eligible), email care@dewtalk.com from the email address you used to book, with the subject line "Refund request — [your name]". Include:

4. Refund processing time

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days of approval. The amount returns to the original payment method via Cashfree Payments. Depending on your bank, it may take an additional 2–5 days to reflect in your account.

5. Exceptional cases

In rare circumstances — for example, a verified medical emergency or a mentor cancellation on our side — we may exercise discretion outside this policy. These are evaluated case-by-case and granted at our sole discretion. Email care@dewtalk.com with documentation.

6. Mentor cancellations

If your mentor cancels a session, we will either reschedule it at no cost OR credit the equivalent session to your program. This is automatic — no action required on your side.

7. Chargebacks

Please contact us first before raising a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks raised without first contacting us may result in immediate program termination without refund.
